Companies and decision makers meet with Indigenous Peoples to find solutions

Mere om

Business meets indigenous Peoples in this event – literally. The green energy transition is underway, in Denmark but also globally. Stine Bosse will guide us through our problem solving process. We see a growing need for tackling human rights issues in this process. The event will present experiences from Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland) and Kenya. After a panel presentation which will set the scene and make sure the audience is on track with the following activity, companies and other people in the audience are invited to participate in an actual negotiation between companies and indigenous peoples regarding coming green energy projects on their lands. A fictive case will frame our problem solving exercise. In this event you can meet the company Greenlead which has solid experience from their projects in Kalaallit Nunaat, two representatives from Indigenous Peoples from Kalaallit Nunaat and Kenya respectively, and from the political side a representative from the Nordic Council.
