Crossing Borders invites you to experience a unique insight into our Empowering Ukrainian Youth Program! The mission is to transform the journey for Ukrainian Youth from refugees to thriving members of the Danish society. The pillars are to create safe spaces, fostering connections with local communities and integrating youths into clubs, schools and associations to build lasting ties. Since 2024, youth hubs in Aarhus, Aalborg, Odense and Copenhagen have brought together Ukrainian youths to empower them to become active citizens in their local settings. The hubs create community, support lifeskills, goalmapping and leadership skills. As workshops are an integral part of these hubs, we also offer you a one-time opportunity to experience a fun session with insights on emotions related to adapting to a new culture. This will be conducted by our young Ukrainian hub coordinators. Learn about some valuable ingredients that helped the youth led hubs into becoming hosts and not only guests!
