Join an evening that celebrates global youth, culture, and connection through food, music, and a glas of champagne. Young changemakers from Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Burundi, South Sudan, DRC, Somalia, Rwanda, and Tanzania bring the flavors and sounds of their home countries to Folkemødet. Together with Danish youth, they invite you to taste, dance, and sing your way into the spirit of solidarity and sustainable change. Expect a vibrant mix of traditional dishes, global beats, and later an open karaoke mic where everyone’s voice is welcome. This is a celebration of youth, diversity, and the power of connection.
